The beauty in the details

When things get busy in the workshop…it’s easy to forget how much of an energy booster just going for a stroll can be.

Not just for the body, and not just for the dog! …but for the eyes and brain as well…

Even on the soggiest, foggiest of winter days, our little corner of Devon at the mouth of the River Teign still presents a feast for the eyes when you just look out for it along your way.

The busy Back Beach with all its small fishing boats, pleasure boats and beach huts, is a fantastic place to spot the colourful textures and patterns of this working coastline. A weather worn wooden plank, vivid spots of rust on salt crusted metal, drops of dew on a boat’s tarpauline. These can be a real treat to behold!

We might sometimes rush past them in our hurry to get back to work, but even when we don’t stop to photograph them, we don’t take them for granted.
