ESCALLS WEDDING RING (YELLOW GOLD WAVE)

MADE TO ORDER

Named after the little hamlet overlooking Gwenver Beach, just by the glorious Sennen Beach, I love making the Escalls wedding ring.

Each gold or silver wave is different, kept deliberately loose and organic rather than uniform or predictable. It is a hand forged, flat wedding band, in either silver or white gold, with a substantial, hammered, slightly irregular precious wire wave meandering around the outside of the ring.

Whenever I make these I’m reminded of the beautiful line drawings of Wilhemena Barns-Graham, the truly wonderful artist well known for her time based in St Ives as well as her native Scotland.

The vibe of this ring is quite different depending on the finish you choose, it can be smooth, with a high polish, or have a softer more artisanal feel, with organic hammering and even a satin finish and a polished wave. The choice is yours!

Please note: The option to have a lower carat of gold wave than the ring itself is not available.

Jewellery Type: Wedding ring.

Metals: Silver, 9 or 18ct gold

Band Profile: Flat band in either 4 or 5mm wide, with a 1mm wire wave.

Band Finish: Hammer textured or smooth, soft or highly polished or satin brushed as required.

Ring Size: Choose your desired size on the pre-checkout form (this comes up when you add your item to your basket), or you can request a ring sizer to be sent.

Works well with: Glasswing stacking engagement rings.

    • Made to order jewellery will arrive via Special Delivery, a tracked and insured service, and your package will required an adult’s signature.

    • Look out for the notification so that you can arrange for someone to be in to sign for your package. Let me know if you’d like to arrange for it to be sent to an alternative address such as a workplace, relative or neighbour.

    • Before placing your order, please be sure to check the current lead times for made-to-order jewellery.

    • Lead times are normally displayed on the announcement bar at the top of the site.

    • Making jewellery, by its nature, is a detailed process, which takes time, particularly so where special stones and materials need to be sourced.

    • The length of time to make and deliver your jewellery will vary according to current work loads.

    • Jewellery will arrive in pretty sustainable or recycled packaging. Triple stone rings and gold rings will arrive in handmade, sustainable walnut Glasswing ring boxes. Silver jewellery will be in sturdy eco-friendly luxe card ring boxes.

    • UK delivery is included, as is hallmarking where appropriate.

    • For international delivery, select the appropriate shipping option when you check out.

    • Ready-to-go jewellery will normally packed and sent by the end of the week in which the order is placed. Delivery is via Special Delivery, a tracked and insured service, and your package will required an adult’s signature.
